In N1MM+, use the macro {CAT1ASC KY text;} to send "text". Spaces and ;
are significant - see the N1MM+ on-line documentation and the K3/KX3
Programmer's Manual.
You can insert N1MM substitution macros like #, * and ! as long as the
total length of the text to be sent stays below 24 characters
There was a recent post on a reflector (don’t know which one) that listed n1mm
function key macros for sending FSK using KY commands I think. It didn’t seem
to require any interface other than usual serial cable. I am interested in
this information.
