There has been a lot of discussion about the pro's and con's of changing the original size, weight, etc of the main tuning knob on the K3. I think it is perfectly fine as is, but in true ham fashion many like to tinker with what most think is already about as good as it gets. I ran across an

I don't know if there are differences on the main tuning knob but I bought the Ten-Tec ring and could never make it fit well or look nice. It was too big to fit over the K3 knob with the existing ring removed and because it has a lip inside it wouldn't fit correctly with the original ring
