that when the K3 says its setting for this is"NOR", that should mean
power per band. After all, when you QSY band to band, don't you often
wind up adjusting the power?

Did you confirm that the drive power from the K3 was changing on 15M when you
adjusted it on 80M and vice versa? I’ve never had this problem 160M through 6M.
Sounds like something may be set wrong in the menu or a failure of some sort.
