[Elecraft] K3 - ClearSpeech filters

Is anyone using the West Mountain ClearSpeech filter with their K3? How does it do with SSB white noise elimination (the constant background his of the receiver when not actually hearing a signal)? Thanks, Bill W2BLC __ Elecraft

I use the ClearSpeech speaker in my mobile operation. Same DSP, just adds an amplified speaker. It is a good addition for mobile but would not recommend it for base operation. The DSP seems to add its own noise. I suspect you have other noise issues if you are distracted by noise on the K3
