Regarding shipping, the last I knew each UPS store is individually owned and
they are free to charge whatever they want for insurance. On the other
hand, FedEx Kinko's is owned by FedEx, and the shipping/insurance there is
the same as at a regular FedEx facility.

Good to their word, the new K3 front panel arrived and I installed it
(took me about three hours - some parts and board removal/replacement

Had a problem with my K3 this morning - it died the MCU-LD death. Called
support. They walked me through a couple of procedures with them (I had
already tried these). K3 still failed. Said they would call back later.
