Metric hardware in the US is slooowly becoming available, but it will take at least another two generations IMHO. The automotive industry is now almost fully converted to metric parts, but small machine screws are lagging way behind. In the meantime, we here in the US have to keep two sets of too

I think I remember a post not too long ago from the guys at Elecraft that the composition of the material the knobs are made of had been changed. My rig is SN3539, and so far, no exploding knobs. I'm positive they'll take care of you. 73, Mike NF4L _
