How about being able to set a config param so that if you hit RIT (or XIT) and then enter a number via the keypad, followed by enter (the AFX button), it uses that as the offset. You could even enter values like 1.5. Only issue is I can't think of a good way to enter a -ve offset. Unless of

Jim: Yes, I discovered the exact same thing, even though this is clearly spelled out in the manual. My suggestion: Rather than dialing in the split freq on 40m, do this: Switch to VFO B (vfo A/B button) and then ENTER the discrete frequency using the keypad. I think you will find that for the
