Well, with Santa's trip just around the corner, how are the elves
coming with the KPA500? Obviously, the elves are busy right now with
P3s, K2s and such, but are there any updates as to the amp's progress?
Curious minds want to know ;-)

Having seen some other possibilities, I'm not going to go for them.
I got some bandwidth downtown and read the ARRL review of the SPE, and
it's not an amp for a RTTY op, which I am.
I'd cheerfully pay for a burger (I mean KPA500) now, for delivery later,
as I did with the K3, especially if I

showing it off.
They do indeed seem to be treating it as a serious product on the way.
The slides has the obligatory not yet type accepted warning of course.

Ah, who needs that stuff? I just had my first QSO on my new homebrew amplifier:
900 watts
out from a pair of class-C 813's! Instant on and full QSK. Of course it has
separate grid
and plate bandswitches and three tuning controls to adjust, one of which is a
multiturn
vacuum capacitor, but
No thanks for tube amplifier. Bad experience from High tension.
