[Elecraft] [Kx3] Feature request: AUTO INF:RIG CTRL

Hello, When turning on the Auto inf: Rig Ctrl Could a switch be implemented so that the audio output is not muted. I use the Kx3 to controll the Kx2 and would like to hear both Kxs on different antennas. Thanks for considering 73 de Hajo dl1sdz --- Cela est bien dit, ...,mais il faut cultiver

I have a brand new, never installed, WindCamp brand heat sink for the KX3. All the mounting holes are drilled & countersunk for a neat & easy installation. It is red anodized after milling and has a bare spot on the inside for more efficient heat transfer from the two RF output devices. This is

I know this may be a nit but it would be neat if the VFO B knob would increment without rounding off the frequency. For instance, I participate in the foxhunts and find the fox. Then I use the DW SUB function and dial in the fox with the VFO A knob. If I use the VFO B knob it rounds off the

Myron, It will already do that. You apparently have the VFO OFS menu parameter set to OFS - change it to OFF and you will have your wish. Note that if you have VFO OFS parameter to OFS, the step size will vary by the value set in VFO CRS. The size setting is per mode. See those menu items

Hi, A feature that would be very handy (if possible) would be a mAh counter that could be reset as needed. With many of the batteries we use in the field (LiFePO4 external or high quality NiMH internal) having relatively flat discharge curves, monitoring voltage doesn't give you a very good

Hi Wayne co. I have recently been larking about with an MFJ-1707 in the hope of using it to prevent my newish Wellbrook loop from being sent to an early grave by my KX3. I've modified the MFJ-1707 to achieve a closed loop solution triggered by the KX3's keyline output, with the KX3's ACC2

When I engage the MON function (sidetone level adjustment) by holding down the leftmost encoder, it would be convenient - and slick - to be able to exit that function by tapping a single Morse code element on the key or paddle. I think the K2 behaves this way, and it was a nice treat to discover.

Many hams are also SWLs and enjoy listening to international broadcasts. The KX3 does a great job and has great audio. Being able to remove all low frequency rolloff makes it sound worlds better than other general coverage ham rigs. It adds real presence to the audio. However the maximum 4.2
