I've got a 6BTV up on my roof; the feedpoint is about 25' up. I have
a pair of tuned radials for every band except 80m - no room for those,
so I left them off.
My best DX so far is ZL on 20 and 40, and VK9 on 80, all with my K2
at 5W.
I think you'll find that the combination works pretty well :-)
Hi Tom.. That encouraging. If you're making DX contacts on the 6BTV
with low power AND no radials, then that pipe must be in water or your
backyard is copper plated. :)
