I've used the Keyspan as well as an Ethernet/serial adapter to connect a laptop to the K3. Both work fine, but the Prolific (KUSB) adapter seems a bit faster on program loading and bulk data - the configuration settings, for example.. The only purpose for using the Ethernet adapter was to
