I used the 1060, with no foam on the bottom. The KX1 is a pretty
robust little box already; the Pelican foam insert holds it
very securely, and there's little chance of the encoder knob
hitting the top cover.

Yes, there's a web site out there with pix of the 1060, but I chose to
go with the 1120. It's a small version of their larger cases, without a
clear body. Plenty of room for extras,
