I doubt this has anything to do with the firmware version. My first
guess would be a problem with the RS-232 connection between the K3 and
P3, but the fact that the center frequency readout is correct implies
that the RS-232 must be working. It could still be intermittent I
suppose.
Got the P3SVGA in and running today. The resolution on my 8-year old
Samsung LCD monitor was lousy, though, so I picked up a new Dell SR2220L
that really looks great at the 1920X1080 resolution out of the P3. It
auto-adjusts and fills the screen just right.
Sadly, when I tried the Fixed Mode
for that highest version # to be the one you want to install.
