I'm following the instructions in the programmer's guide, but my screens don't
match up with the manual.
I have the latest version of the K3 utility, ends in 30.
Here's the problems:
To create this macro and assign it to a K3 front panel switch, you'll
need to complete all of steps 1-8 below.

Paul, you need K3 Utility revision 1.2.10.26 or later. I think you
have something

Anyone have any advice?
yes, the version of K3 Utility you have is too old. The version that
supports the Macro transfer is not yet on the web site. It will be
there soon.

Hey Wayne,
The website has a link to the new K3 Utility 1.2.10.27 but when you
click on it, it is still pointing to 1.2.9.30.
Or am I jumping the gun here ;-)

2. Click on the Command Tester/K3 Macros tab.
This is incorrect. Use #3 below. It's a menu item, and brings up a separate
screen.
3. Click on the Edit Macros button at the top of the screen. This brings
up the macro edit window.
It's Edit, then choose Command Tester/K3 Macros..

This applied to V1.2.10.23

It's Edit,
'ends in 30' is not particularly descriptive, nor did you list your
firmware version. New Macro material in programmer's guide material is going
to require utility 1.2.10.27 and at least beta firmware 3.52 in place.
I wouldn't spend anytime on anything trouble-shooting unless you are at
1.2.10.27
