Favorite amateur radio band: 20m (cw)
Reasons:
- An effective antenna, even a directional one, does not need to be
prohibitively large or heavy. (my Hex Beam weighs about 7 pounds, and
has a turning radius of a little over 9 feet). Have also had success w/
vertical dipoles, and ground planes.
40, 30 and 20 Meters.
Mary Chapen Carpenter, Confederate Railroad, B-52's, Cyndi Lauper,
Martina McBride, The Hooters, the Cranberries and the Coors, Creedance
and Paul Winter.

Love 40 meters! Always open to somewhere from East Central Indiana. It's
fun to listen to 40 meters after local sundown and hear the states west of
the Mississippi start rolling in. After 0300 the entire western US is
reachable on a few watts.
I enjoy 20 meters because I never know where it
