Now you're talking. the Del McCoury Band, the Osborne Brothers, Larry Sparks, Flatt and Scruggs, the Seldom Scene and the Country Gentlemen (loved John Duffy). Mac Wiseman lives on a farm not too far from me... and Charlie Daniels (CDB) lives just a couple miles down the road. 6 and 40M 73/72

Favorite amateur radio band: 20m (cw) Reasons: - An effective antenna, even a directional one, does not need to be prohibitively large or heavy. (my Hex Beam weighs about 7 pounds, and has a turning radius of a little over 9 feet). Have also had success w/ vertical dipoles, and ground planes.
