[Elecraft] k-2 atu

just got a used k2 with the atu in it !! sure is a promlem for me   i set my power at 5 watts. even into the dummy load it shows 9.9 for some odd reason . my other rigs have internal atus and work fine   have you heard of any one else having  this prob.?.  jim kc0dd thanks   little radios

I assume this is a K2/10 with the KAT2. It is unusual for the diodes in the KAT2 wattmeter to be damaged by a static surge, but it can happen. I would first check D1 and D2 in the KAT2. If they check good with an ohmmeter (normal diode check), then the wattmeter in the KAT2 just needs to be
