I have a ~3 year ol Samsung N120 netbook that seems to work fine. I've only just installed HDSDR, but it was able to decode SSB signals OK. I had to swap the left an right channels, but no other problems. I was actually a little surprised as I had never tried to use the mic input

To add to the list, my older HP Pavilion DV7 with Vista Home Premium has a line in. It is labelled as external mic but is really a stereo line in with switchable preamp. The sound device is by IDT and the drivers support 24 bits at 192KHz! Unfortunately, like so many other motherboard sound
