Putting a K1 on 160 can be done easily (see instructions below for one
method). Not too much effort.
The KAT1 will tune OK, but the range will not be as great as on higher
bands.
In my opinion, it is a pain to have 2 40 meter boards and keep track of

Unless it was expanded recently, the K1 can be set to any of the 9 HF bands,
but it only has memory slots for 6 of them - one can choose any 6 of the 9
available bands.
You are correct that only one correction factor for any one band is
available.
