[Elecraft] VOX Delay with CW in SSB

It appears that in CW in SSB mode, the VOX delay is not in use, only full break in. Keying the microphone overrides the CW in SSB, which makes sense. Have I missed something? I want to use CW in SSB with VHF transverters, whose relays don't work so well with full break in. 73 - Jim

Hi Rich, It's 36 long. If that's not long enough you can just get a 15-pin DE15HD cable to extend it. You only need one KPAK3AUX cable in your set up to isolate the K3 ACC signals that shouldn't be connected to the KPA500. Try http://www.winfordeng.com and http://www.cablewholesale.com for

Does anyone have any idea what the ~20KHz wide digital mode QRM is at the bottom of 17m? It extends from about 18.054 to 18.076, and is a solid S9 strength here, and appears to be coming from Europe. I wasn't sure if it was local or not, but just had a cw QSO w/ an op in Spain who said it was

Sam's advice is correct ... however, the FM filter is a suitable alternative to the AM filter if you plan to do/try FM on the top end of 10 Meters, 6 meters or install the internal 2 m transverter at some point. Either the FM or AM filters will provide a 4 KHz wide waterfall (200 - 4200 Hz)

Hello all On the kfl1-4 board page 12 the green wire. says 8 turns. Fig6 A shows 8 turns then it would be folded down behind the core. Fig6 B shows 7 turns then folded down behind the core which would make 8. (I think). Which one shows the way it should look-A or B? Thank you for any help yall can

Frank, Regardless of the diagrams, the turns specified in the text is correct. Count the number of times the wire passes through the center of the core - and yes, that last turn does pass through the center, so count it. In other words, a straight wire through a toroid is 1 turn, a full wrap

Put together my KDSP2 and worked first time out...still kinda missing the KAF2 but now I have some cool SSB filtering to play with!! Question, I've left all filters factory stock for now, on CW it notes the center freq is 600hz, however, I set my tone to 680hz, should I go into the KDSP2
