Just want to let the K1 users know, today I completed the ATU KAT1, and the

Could someone who is using WinTest to send CW on a K3 contact me off list
please. I am not able to get Wintest to key up my K3 so I obviously have some (
or all ) of the settings wrong.
Thanks in advance

Hi All -
I know this is a stretch but I'm wondering if there are any folks on this
reflector who are using a Mac computer with their K3, a SignaLink USB, and have
had success with the installation and operation of WSJT-X for Mac OS? I'd like
to run JT9 and if possible, avoid having to run the

I am trying to set up my KX3 to produce a band scope/waterfall display
using NaP3 (v2.2.4.3).
My system includes a laptop running Win 7 Home Premium with a Intel
Core i3 CPU at 1.33 GHz with 4.00 (3.68usable) GB of memory and a 64-bit
OS. The modem I use is a USB E-Mu 0204
I am also interested in replies to this post. I have only successfully set up
the KX3 using K3 settings per the Telepost.com website and that is without
using the E-MU-0204 external sound card.

Just a quick update. I now can now QSY, change mode etc from the keyboard in
Wintest so I know my computer is talking to my K3 through Wintest. Still can't
get the K3 to TX CW from the keyboard / F1 F2... buttons however if anyone has
any ideas. Thanks in advance.

I have some problems with my CW sidetone. When a strong (enormous) noise

My Holiday Season gift for my friend, my KX3, is The BUG mode as one of the

Currently, KX3 provides me with Iambic A or B and HAND. Having the BUG

That's great now if it only supported Elecraft radios. Heck, would be nice if

Fred, as far as N1MM Logger is concerned you have DTR and RTS backwards.
N1MM Logger supports CW keying on DTR of a serial port but not on RTS,
whereas it supports PTT switching on either DTR or RTS.
