I am very fortunate to have been to the SWODXA DX dinner one year and saw a 1kw or more Elecraft prototype. I am sure there are photos out there somewhere but it was a nice looking amp. It created lots of buzz that evening. Then it was scuttled off to parts unknown to never be seen by the masses.

Yes, with Lithium batteries, follow the instructions. If they do not recharge within the specified time, something is wrong. Whether that specified charging time is 2 hours, or something else is of no consequence. If it does not charge within the specified time, it is cause for investigation
