I have a Heil MM-4 Boom Mike that is not working into my K3. I just tested
an Elecraft MH-2 Hand mike into the front panel and it works fine.
The configuration that I am using for the MM-4 mike is FPL - with High Gain

were some things in the K3s that needed to be changed, but that still left some
serious issues that were definitely related to DX Labs WinWarbler.
DX Labs works by storing app settings in the registry, and
I used a large sandwich box which held it very well indeed. Then it can be
popped into your ruck sack without further ado.

So I dropped by a friend’s place today to buy my old K2/100 back. (now I have
an extra K2 with most options…. LOL) and I snagged a K1.
Never owned one in the past. Just need to pick up the noise blanker and the
internal battery tray, etc.
