Conditions were better than they have been in some time. Quiet on
twenty with a few storms active on forty. QSB was low to moderate. I
did not hear any digital activity. The sun is slowly waking up.

There has been a LOT of discussion on the K4
groups.io forum about the QSK performance
of the K4. If not subscribed to that forum,
it's worth doing so if only to follow the chatter
about the K4's features and reported bugs.
Follow Don's advice, especially on any matter
involving the K2!

Your K2 #1 DOES have AGC - it is built into ALL K2s.
There are 2 possibilities - 1) the AGC has been turned off - that is a 2
button function of PRE/ATT button and the AGC button pressed at the same
time. Normally just using the AGC button changes between FAST and SLOW.
2) The AGC
So: Somehow I wound up with two K2s. I bought the first one because
it was small - multiband - and QSK. I have
become enamored of transparent, conversational QSK - the kind where your
transmitted signal just sounds like all the other signals. The K2 alas
is not that, although it is PIN
While I've found the RFI discussions very interesting it is adding a
bunch of 'noise' to the mailing list, can we circle back to
Elecraft focused topics?
