Jim I found the (so called Optimizers) to be VERY Noisy when the Sun is Just starting to hit the Solar Panel ARRAY and the Optimizer it Trying to Balance the Current (load) of ALL the panels. I would Bet the FCC Test are being Run when the Sun is Either Full ON or Full OFF, Not in its Full Dynamic Switching Mode. I get this message randomly on my K3S and it has the DVR installed and it is set to NOR. What I have discovered, when I get the ERR DVR message and I look at the Config Firmware versions. The DVR FW version which should be 2.05 is some weird off the wall number like 0.01. The KDVR3 has/had some bad firmware that needs corrected at Elecraft. It cannot be done by the end user. Josep - If you do not have the DVR installed in your K3, go to the Config Menu and check the KDVR3 entry. It should say 'not inSt'. If it says 'nor' then turn it to 'not inSt'.
