Group - For those who believe Elecraft can't compete in the amp market, I ask you to consider the market into which Elecraft introduced the K3. Now almost 4000 of us have sold or retired other high quality transceivers for the K3.     It's excellent that many K3 owners already have quality

Buck, Group - Snip   A watt is a  watt is a watt and it is very difficult to conceive an amp that is going to be  so superior (as the K3 is to every other XVCR) that someone will give up what  they have to get one.  What would you add to, or do different from, what is  already available?

Frankly, It seems to me that good QRO amps are a glut on the market. (see THP, etc.) To be competitive in that market, any Elecraft offering would have to be highly innovative and I just don't see much more that can be done. Gotta disagree with this comment. There is no Elecraft-quality

Hello All - I use my K3 in two locations with two different antennas. I have installed firmware v 3.03. Is it possible to save and retrieve antenna settings for more than one antenna? If so, how?

Thank you Iain and Dick. The serial connection from my laptop to the K3 is now working properly. I tried changing COM ports and port settings without success. Then I shut down the computer, unplugged the two USB devices, restarted the computer, reattached the USB to serial cable and all

I am attempting to connect to my K3 with HRD. I am using the Elecraft USB to serial port to connect them. The USB to serial port connector is on COM 9, has the latest drivers and has been successfully used to install K3 firmware v 4.26. HRD will not let me choose COM 9. COM 3, which HRD
