Off hand does anyone know what the max power is for the rx antenna ports on
a K3? Can I safely attach my Nano to determine port impedance? Guessing my
Nano is 0dbm. Or can someone tell me what they found the input impedance to
be?
Thanks,

Is there an easy way when listening split say 7205 and 7065 (7205 in one ear
and 7065 in the other) and then put 2 ears on one frequency or the other
quickly?

I have had an interference problem on the top part of 15 meters (21380 to
21450) from an FM station 1 mile from my house whose frequency is 97.1Mhz.
It peaks about S6 and is quite noticeable with only coax connected and no
antenna selected. I have (2) -K3 and it is present on both. I installed
I just noticed that my SWR on 10 M was a lot higher then normal on an
antenna, 2.6 to 1 when normal is maybe 1.7 to 1. I used a dummy load to
check and SWR was 1 to 1 on 160,80,40,20,15 and 6. But on 10 is was 1.7-1.8
to 1 into the 50 ohm dummy load. I was going to check it on 12M but
couldn't
I knew about the power set nor/per band didn't know about the 'tap 1' to
lock mic/cmp/pwr. Now that I know that I sure wish a 'tap 2' would only
lock mic/cmp and not pwr. Any chance? Would others find that useful?
After setting the mic/cmp I never want to change them but I do need to
change
All of a sudden (I think) the SWR on one of my K3's (#1) is showing 1.5 to 1
into a dummy load on 40 meters only. All other bands the K3 (#1) shows 1 to
1, my other K3 (#2) shows 1 to 1 on all bands using the same dummy load and
same piece of coax. I also noticed that on one antenna where the
I live about 1 mile from a strong FM broadcast station tower that transmits
on 97.1Mhz. I have talked to the station engineer and they are in process
of running some tests and of course don't think it is their problem. The
RFI shows up from about 21.380 to 21.430 (an FM signal) with an antenna
I read about 50 old posts and have not seen an answer to this question.
I can activate M1 to M4 from my s/w (TRLinux) but cannot figure out a way to
access M5 to M8. You wouldn't think this could be this difficult.
I can switch to bank #2 but then cannot play the memory with one
Looking for a KDVR3 for one of my K3's. Reply direct to QRZ.com address.

Just playing with a borrowed KX3 and noticed a nice feature on the AFX MD.
You can select off, delay and pitch. Any chance pitch could be added to the
K3? In effect the pitch of CW stations maps from left to right.
BTW my P3 does a lot of freezing.
Thanks,
Mike W9RE
Just to add other parameters: I have seen the stutter for as long as I have
had my P3 which is about 2.5 years. No SVGA card, I do not run QSK, I have
not updated firmware in a year or so. One other odd thing with my K3, I
added the 2nd receiver and KDVR3 this past August. The 2nd receiver
Is there any way to transmit on say 3825 and listen with both receivers on
say 3705? Obviously I would be listening with two different antennas (maybe
the transmit antenna and a rx antenna).
Thanks,

My approach to this was to use my band decoders to drive a 4P relay and use
the relay contacts to drive filters, antenna switching, and an add circuit
so if 2 of the relays were on the same band a piezo device that emits a tone
as a warning of both radios being on the same band. My 2 radio band
Using the suggested 72 length of coax between my K3 and my 87A the SWR is
one bar on 20 and 15 meters, 2 bars on 40 meters, 3 bars on 160 and 10 but
on 80 meters it is 6+ bars (about 2.5 to 1) which seems quite a bit high.
I think I have gotten the display of Hi SWR at one point. I have tried
