I tuned into my inv-V with 8 Watt on 3.63 Mhz and
connected a 1 meter wire as antenna on my HP frequency counter.
The counter displayed 3.2177 Mhz ! An offset of approximately .412 Mhz
Still no idea. Waiting on k3support@elecraft...

I have seen general definitions about motors for driving a capacitor in Mag
Loop. But I have not seen a recommendation of a specific type to look for
on Amazon or Ebay. For starters I
Power pole connectors are okay but they do break!
When you use the K3's Tilt Stand the power cable will lean on the desk surface.
If you for any reason lift the K3 at the front any higher the sideways pressure
on the Power pole
connector can break its housing and the spring in the connector is
the hi CPU

Twan,
Download K3 firmware 3.42 and try it. There was a problem when using
HRD that was fixed. It has a good chance for fixing your

frequenties I notice the dip in the noise. It's sounds
like the Noise Blanker is activated shortly.
But I don't think this is the problem. K3 on LSB or USB with NO antenna
attached to it. NB on/off or AGC-F/S makes no difference.
