Paul, The combo of the KRX3 and K3S is not a problem. There is an added capacitor for the KRX3A to increase the low frequency sensitivity (by reducing the noise component) - Important to those who want to use the KRX3 for VLF operation. I believe the instructions for modding the KRX3 to the

Happy 4th to all those that celebrate it/care about it. I have removed a working krx3 (not krx3a) from a working K3. I have separately acquired a ksyn3A. Two questions; 1) what are the differences between the krx3 and krx3a? 2) is my combo of Ksyn3a and krx3 compatible with a K3s? Paul W6PNG
