I am a fairly new K3 owner; three months now and I am hooked!
I'd like to take my K3 on several contest expeditions and so I am looking
for a carrying case (prefer a soft case). Any guidance appreciated.

Rose Kopp, N7HKW, makes great cases and covers for the whole K-line. I have
several; they are really well made and functional.

Jorge, et al;
I find the best case for carrying K2s, K3, etc is a pilot flight bag.
These are designed to carry the Jeppesen Approach plates, aircraft
operating manuals, etc and are totally accepted by the airlines/security
folks. They see them ALL the time. My bag's dimensions are 18L x 10W x
P.S. The Pelican cases are nice as are the aluminum
sided cases but tend to call attention to 'something
valuable is inside'. Not good for customs or potential
thieves.
I travel to the PJ2T station with my K3 in a well-padded
Pelican 1550 case. Because I also take my laptop and many

I certainly will, just waiting for mine to arrive via post

Is it possible to provide any pictures of the new case. It sounds very
interesting.
Thanks,

Why not Pelican? I have two for my cameras, I personally would never use
anything else.

I agree with Simon. Pelican cases are hard to beat. I have a complete K2
shack-in-a-box outfit for taveling in one and even the airlines have been
unable to kill it!

Look for BILTEMA aluminium case for tools.
Easy to specialize for K3 with extras.
Cheap (16 Euros) and strong enough.
