I seem to have found that connecting the supplied RCA-Fono cable from K3:PTT-OUT to KAT500 PTT (maybe Inhibit?) allows correct turn-on sequence w/o K3 Xmit. Haven't remembered how I had the K3 Config:PTT sett ...PTT OFF-OFF or otherwise Because when computer boots, the rig keys, and K3 is not

Bob; Check the K3-KPA500 AUX cable. It is possible that one of the pins is bent and is not touching another pin (or the shell), causing the problem. If so, try to carefully straighten the pin so as not to break it, although most likely you would need to replace the cable. Jack Brindle, W6FB
