We've been able to duplicate it here as well. Of course it's just a problem
with clearing the previous
If I turn span on with the right hand button and then push my span
preprogrammed lower button(50khz), the readout will say 500 even though the
span is 50. A bug??

I can't duplicate that bug here. First try a parameter reset by holding the
MENU and powering up using the POWER key. If the problem is still present,
email me directly at pauls at elecraft dot com.
