Per ARRL, delegates attending the 2012 World Radiocommunication Conference
(WRC-12) have approved a new 7-kilohertz-wide secondary allocation between
472-479 kHz for the Amateur Radio Service.

Implementation won't
The K3's synthesizer was never intended to go below 550 kHz,
originally. We changed the firmware to get it to 490, but to get to
472 may require a hardware modification to the synthesizer that
adversely affect coverage of other bands. So I can't guarantee
