The Elecraft warranty isn't specific to the purchaser. It's a one-year
warranty from date shipped from the factory. It applies to the radio, not to
the radio in the hands of the original owner. I'm not a lawyer but I can't
find anything in Song Beverly (CA) or Magnuson-Moss (US) that would
