Yes this is indeed WCER in Canton, OH on 900 Khz. Canton is at least 100 miles from me. I cant even copy their signal on 900 Khz using a good portable radio or the K3 (but I notice the K3 attenuates signals in that range. I dont have the general coverage filter option.) Thanks for the comments!

Dick, The normal resistance is very high (receive periods) and very close to zero during transmit (or TUNE). Your 15 ohms is unusual. Check the gate voltage of Q9 - it should be close to 5 volts. Also check the soldering of Q9. Be ceertain the source connection has had enough heat to flow
