I don't think so, I believe this is an inherent limitation of
visual-line-mode
there's an appointment-based solution instead of a
task-based.

However, it is a little bit cumbersome. Is there an easier way to
define code (possibly with boilerplate), and let it be replaced with
the graphics file it produces?
