my old c-frame machines were all wired with an i/o box at rear of column
this box had 2 rows of terminal strips
top was in from control
bottom was out to control
terminal 1 of top jumpered to terminal 1 of bottom allowed override of
the whole estop chain on machine side ( temperature, oil
really?
and these 10$ probes have that special pin that Tek scopes need to make
the speed correct?
whats the part number?
my 2 tek scopes can use new probes

Anders,
My cnc experience was primarily with WEDM
( i discount the larger time spent in sink edm as it's pretty much
point and shoot not contouring )
but we were always constrained to a 'tangential contour' ,meaning each
path element could not be blended.
( it could have geometry truncated by

try using a cylinder for ropes

Colocation vs. Managed Hosting
A question and answer guide to determining the best fit
for your organization -
re: GladeVCP flexibility
HAL widgets respect the hal data types ( the data is numeric )
GladeVCP has a large number of non Hal widgets,
and these can have strings and lists
because general toolkits know user dialogs are not always numeric
you cant use strings in Hal, thats ok, (cant have
the pin offset could also do edm orbiting
there is a point in the process where the tool is moved in a pattern
to exaggerate its size
since the pattern has a centre, its called an orbit ( tho it can be
circular, square of hemispherical classicly )
i fiddled with injecting a sine cosine generator
re: gEDA2Hal
Lars
I wrote that gEDA page and got some of the gEDA to Hal to work
Follow the notes on the page ask away
I got busy ( got some work) and have not finished it
but
'micges' used another way to get same result, he used 'eagle' pcb suite.
There is a catch tho, 'eagle' is closed source
