I am only suggesting buying the manual from Schwarzbeck, not another unit.
I hope that they want less than €1640 for a manual.

They want as much as 1640 euros for one (calibrated warranted, etc.) and
this cost about $210 including shipping with the usual eBay I don't know
how to check it non-warranty. UPS dented it, of course. I checked the
amplitude calibration today at work and found it

Good People,
Is there such a thing as an 'IEC' symbol (no, not the 417 stuff).
I am looking at a component that has a mark similar to the CSA logo, but
the 'inner' characters of the logo are 'I' and 'E'.
The project engineer claims that is an approval symbol. Does this mark
mean anything ?

Have you tried contacting Schwarzbeck?

They sell their own used equipment. Their web side shows a FSME 1515 with
a manual sitting on top. You might be able to get a copy from them.

On a similar note, my car would not always start. Fearing the worst I go to
my dealer. Turns out that my quick-pay pass (you poke it at the gas pump and
it automatically charges your credit card) interferes with the car's
anti-theft system. It cost me $50 to have my mechanic remove the pay pass
