Hi Joe,
Product liability, h.. Actually I much prefer staying on the other
side of the fence making sure that that products are safe to start with.
However, I know that alone that will not prevent occasionally embarking
into the liability arena (I liken it to a viper pit). Its a place
Hello all,
Personally, I thought the Y3.doc was fairly clever, even making it
non-readable. Maybe the meeting place is encrypted or coded into the
document?
Anyway, in waxing nostalgic, I wonder how many of us recall the CPS unit.

Hi Chaz,
I'm sure the folks in Japan would certainly think it to be reasonable.
Power there is supplied at 100V 50Hz 100V 60Hz depending where in Japan
you happen to be. Common input test conditions at 100V 50Hz line voltage
would be +6% (106V 53Hz) and -10% (90V 47Hz). As you can see, very
Hello out there,
I have some questions regarding the adoption if IEC60950 3rd Edition.
1) Now that IEC60950 3rd Ed. is now out and UL60950 3rd Ed. is out for
review, when will EN60950 catch up and follow IEC60950 3rd Ed.?
2) And for that matter, how about AS/NZ 3260 and other 950 derivatives?

To all that might be aware of this subject again,
Is anyone aware of an effort for EN60950 going to 3rd Edition? And, when
will the CB Scheme adopt IEC60950 3rd Edition? Is effectivity very soon,
soon, not at all, never? Surely, someone must know something about these
developments.
Thank you
Not at all. Those qualifications would be found in Annex MT. ;-)

Hi Peter,
Hmmm... Let me see, keeping everything to 4 or 5 decimal places,
1m = 3.2808 ft, therefore, 1m3 = 35.3145 ft3, and therefore,
1m3/hr = 0.58857 ft3/min (CFM)
