Hello Group,
I am looking for a test lab in the San Francisco Bay Area to perform both
OTA and LTE testing.
How many labs are available who can do both? What is the typical lead time
to get into the lab?
Anyone with info can message me privately so we don't start an advertising

Hello,
I have a question regarding ANSI C63.4 1GHz testing setup with absorbers
compliant to CISPR 16-1-4:2007.
The test lab I use has absorbers on the ground plane meeting the CISPR
16-1-4:2007 VSWR requirement up to 6GHz. ANSI says absorbers are acceptable
above 1GHz as long as the
Hi Dennis,
Does this mean I can use absorbers up to 40GHz following ANSI C63.4:2009?
Thanks,
Tim

Hi Anthony,
AR doesn't support conducted emissions yet. That will come in future releases.
Thanks for the tip though.

Hello Group,
I have an Agilent 8564E spectrum analyzer and I need to find software to run
automated scans for CISPR 22 conducted emissions.
Does anyone have suggestions? I would like to find software that isn't too
costly but still maintains quality.
Thanks,
Tim

Thanks to everyone that responded. This confirms my recent experiences in
getting approval for Turkey.

Hello group,
Have anyone heard of a new requirement by Turkey start this month for CE? They
are asking to have CE DoC for all sub-assemblies (Field Replaceable Units)
example is memory DIMMs, SFP's, PCI cards etc. that are used in network
servers or appliances. This is based on EMC directive
Hello Group,
I would like to know if radiated emission test data taken at a 3 meter
distance in a 5 meter semi-anechoic chamber is valid for qualification testing
for the following:
Please assume that the chamber is fully validated with volumetric NSA.
1. FCC/Industry Canada
2. VCCI (Japan)
Hello,
I'm looking to purchase an EMI receiver for use in a 5 meter chamber. Does
anyone recommend a certain model? I would want one that has at least a
frequency range from 150kHz to 18GHz so one unit can be used for radiated and
conducted emission measurements.
I'm looking for a unit that
Hello,
I know I have previously asked a similar question before about equipment that
will test to the new harmonics and flicker standards effective in Feb. 2009,
but I would really like to find something similar to the HP/Agilent 6842A
Harmonic and Flicker Test System.
The Agilent unit has
There have been several recommendations for California Instruments. I'll be
checking into what they have to offer.
Thanks to everyone who responded.

Hello group,
Does anyone know when EN 61000-3-2:2006 becomes effective? The information I

Also, does anyone know what the differences are between this standard and EN

Hi Ghery,
Thanks for the confirmation. Do you recommend any particular model of
measuring equipment? I would hope that it would cover the amendment coming up
too.
Thanks,

I looked through the previews that IEC provides and only found references to
harmonics and flicker (IEC61000-3-2 and IEC61000-3-3). There are other tests
listed, such as:
. voltage fluctuations and flicker;
. harmonics up to and including order 50;
. inter-harmonics up to the 50th harmonic;

Hello,
I have equipment that needs testing to EN 61000-2-2 and EN 61000-2-4. Can
anyone advise on test labs where this can be done? I would prefer to get the
testing done in northern California if possible.
Thanks,

Hello all,
I appreciate everyone's responses on this. Some comments raise another
question.
Since there needs to be a ground plane to meet NSA, but an absorber lined
floor is desirable for immunity testing, how is this normally resolved?
The only solution I can think of would be to make the
