What is in the owners manual is way incomplete. Very close to Zip on the
speed control stuffs.

You should see the tool number at the bottom of the axis screen.
If there is no tool number listed there, you dont you don't get the "tool
table" option in the touch off screen.

declared in the .ini or .hal files to inform Axis that there should be
a "Tool Table" option in the touch off dialog?

That set up sounds sensible. It made me envision a simple arrangement
using a mounted angle grinder on a fixture with different pivot points.
