i need to know Amp that needs to use THCAD and i will buy any power supply. i know that voltage regulator 7805 will drop 2-3 volts so i need 9v power supply and amp to run THCAD. also -any suggestion about --? -

I use a dowel to touch off to the face of my spindle using the same method as Andy, move the tool closer than the diameter of the dowel then put the dowel between and jog out using 0.001 increments. And like Andy when the dowel falls through I touch off the tool not the material. For X I use

I don't see the mesa flash utility being a problem.. The 5i25 and people are getting by (you get it when you download the support software from mesa - I just checked and it is also in the 7i90 software package). it will be nice when it is part of the linuxcnc repository though.. sam On
