[Enigmail] "No smartcard found in reader"

Ubuntu 12.10 Thunderbird 17.0.3 (ubuntu version) Enigmail 1.4.6 (ubuntu version) gpg2 2.0.17 When I try to do any signing actions, I get a "No smartcard found in reader" error. I can use the card via the command line, and running the exact same commands from the command line works. Any ideas?
