But the shadow is too dark. Is there a way to add semi-transparency to this?

Hi all!
I am trying to add a "light" effect or "table lamp" effect to the
wallpaper, something like in e17GoldRed.edj
Unfortunately, all the comments are in Spanish, and I cannot seem to
find any of such effects in wiki.
So, how to add this effect?
