Other things: When trying to rename a file, pressing right arrow does not take the cursor to the end of the text dialog, nor the left arrow to the front, nor does clicking on the text dailog put the cursor under the mouse, you have to start typing and annihilate any pre-existing text. On

I get this ( sometimes ) *only* immediately after a restart ( ie a crash recovery kind of restart ). I fix it by clicking on the window border of each window and dragging it. It seems like until I do this, E has a different idea of where windows are ( even though they appear to be where I expect
