Hi, I was using E17 with the new Ubuntu 8.10 and realized that the cpu frequency wasn't scaling. Then I checked that with gnome and even without a window manager and it worked fine. Well, it seems that E always starts its children applications with nice +1, and Ubuntu has the file /sys/devices/sy
