[e-users] Scroll bar shown on e17 desktop

2011-03-09 Thread Mick
Something must have gone wrong with my settings on e17, because when I booted
up this morning I noticed a scroll bar on the right edge of my desktop. All
four virtual desktops have it and it does not react to R/L mouse clicks.

Is my ~/.e corrupted, or how can I remove this?

I saw this recently too. I don't know the cause, but getting rid of ~/.e
fixed it.

I would assume that this just one of the numerous oddities the e_fm
window on the desktop, that is there for showing icons on it, creates.
Another one would be: weird text in the middle of the desktop.

Still have been neither able to find out what causes it, nor am I able
to reproduce it reliably. I think it has to do something with the e_fm
window getting focus through the desk-switching animation, though this
is only an assumption.

Re: [e-users] e16: Changing borders of Sedation theme

2011-03-09 Thread nathan baxter
the easiest way to do this is to simply swap all the references around. The
only one's that make a difference are the __NAME border name portions of
those config files.

But to make it easier so you remember what you've done is to rename the
default.cfg to something else and change the __NAME DEFAULT to whatever you
called the file.

then move the classic.cfg to default.cfg and change the __NAME CLASSIC to
__NAME DEFAULT

That should about cover it :)

P.S. apologies for double post, Just re'd José instead of the list ad as
some other people may wonder how this is done it's now here for everyone to
see

Hello.

I am using the e16 Sedation theme (which can be downloaded from
 http://themes.effx.us/packages/e16/Sedation.etheme).

It has several borders for windows:

 $ ls ~/.e16/themes/Sedation/borders
 borderless.cfg
 classic.cfg
 default.cfg
 fixed_size.cfg
 iconbox.cfg
 menu.cfg
 pager_right.cfg
 pixel.cfg
 transient.cfg

Among its border configurations there are CLASSIC and DEFAULT. I want to
use the CLASSIC instead of the DEFAULT. What is the proper way of
 getting it?

 Romildo
