AFAIK udisks and udisks2 co-exist nicely.
Fedora 20 runs both installed with no problem
auto mount
here I had a learning curve with e. when I stick in a thumb drive the icon of
it shows on the desktop, but it only mounts when opened or right-click 'mount'
is chosen. but the full automount
I recently installed enlightenment 0.18.8 on archlinux but for some reason
application icons are not showing up.
had the same issue some time ago on a second user account. I linked the hicolor
icons to the menu and iBar items but it is time consuming and doesn't solve all
missing icons.
OK, good to hear the udisk/udisks2 combo is ok. And just for clarity, the
issue isn't just with automouting, it with any kind of mounting through
enlightenment, including opening or right-clicking selecting 'mount'.
unfortunately, rebuilding enlightenement after installing udisks(1) didn't
help.

What happens to .e-backtrace.txt when E crashes more than once?
If the file exists, is it overwritten?
Or does the information from the most recent crash get stuffed in there
along with the previous crash information?

Would it be possible to shove time/date information in there as well?
To with help with figuring out what time the crash occurred? (assuming the
user creates a bug report and uploads the crash log to phab...and if new
contents had just been appended to the log...)
