My idea of tooltip is not so bad for all date fields.
Ans too for other fields : in "File properties" for exemple, the "Name"
field is very short. A tooltip could dispaly the full name.

My idea of tooltip is not so bad for all date fields. I use it in html
when a small field is reserved for a date, if the user remains on it a
while, a tooltip displays the full date time.
