[e-users] "Ignore all window move requests" from some apps
Hi all. I'm using a truly infuriating Java app, which constantly opens new windows for everything that you want to do. I'm running it on an external LCD screen. It absolutely insists on opening new windows in the very top-left corner of my laptop panel. I've tried using "remember" settings, but these appear to have no effect for this particular application ( I use "remember" settings successfully for a number of other apps ). When I right-click a window from the offending application, the "remember" settings are "remembered" - so the matching is working. Is it possible this application is opening windows and then after they've opened, requesting that they be moved to the top-left corner of my LCD, thereby defeating the "remember" functionality? If so, can we have another "remember" setting for "ignore all window move requests" or something? Thanks.
