Can you mount at all with efm/enlightenment, or just not automount things?
A while ago in e17 days I had this file mode and also couldn't mount
anything. If you don't have it, try installing udisks (might need to
rebuild enlightenment, not sure). If that doesn't work, try adding

Installing an icontheme to ~/.icons did work. I noticed that of the 6 themes
that I installed only 2 showed up in setting panellookapplication
themeicons. For the ones that didn't list the index.theme file listed
directories that were not in the theme.
